Cyprus prelim trade deficit widens to EUR 2.6 bln in June

The Cyprus trade deficit widened to EUR 2.6 bln in January-June 2010, from EUR 2.3 bln in the same period of 2009, according to preliminary estimates for June.
Total imports/ arrivals amounted to EUR 547.1 mln.
Of this total, EUR 392.4 mln constituted arrivals from other Member States of the EU and EUR 154.7 mln imports from third countries.
Total exports/ dispatches reached EUR 91.1 mln.
Of this EUR 55.1 mln were dispatches to other Member States of the EU and EUR 36.0 mln exports to third countries.
