Cyprus petroleum sales fall 2.9% in Jan-Apr

Total sales of petroleum products recorded a decrease of 2.9% over the corresponding period of the previous year during the period January – April 2010, according to the Statistical Service, CYSTAT.
Total sales of petroleum products in April 2010 alone fell by 15.8% compared to the previous month.
The Statistical Service said that a considerable decrease was noted in the sales of Kerosene, Gasoil, Asphalt and Liquefied Petroleum Gas, while an increase was recorded in the sales of Aviation Kerosene, Gasoil for Marine use and Gasoil for Agriculture use.
Total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month recorded a decrease of 23.1% compared to the previous month.
