Cyprus petroleum sales down 1.3% in Q1

Total sales of petroleum products in March 2010 recorded an increase of 3.4% compared with the previous month, according to the Statistical Service.
There was a large increase in sales of asphalt, gasoil low sulphur and aviation kerosene.
A decrease was recorded in sales of kerosene, gasoil and heavy fuel oil.
Total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month recorded an increase of 4.6% compared with the previous month.
During the period January – March 2010 total sales of petroleum products recorded a decrease of 1.3% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
