Cyprus tourism revenue rebounds in March

Revenue from tourism rose by 14.3% in March 2010 to reach EUR 65.6 mln compared with EUR 57.4 mln in the corresponding month of the previous year.
Tourism arrivals in the same month rose by 14.8%.
For the period January – March 2010 revenue from tourism rose by 3.5% to EUR 129.2 mln, compared with EUR 124.8 mln in the corresponding period of 2009.
However, spending per person actually declined in March, to EUR631.7 per person per day in March 2010 from EUR 634.2 per person per day in March 2009.
