Bank of Cyprus appoints Deputy CEO

The Board of Directors of the Bank of Cyprus Public Company Ltd approved the appointment of Yiannis Pechlivanidis as First Deputy Group CEO with primary responsibility the Group’s operations in Greece and the Balkans. At the same time, Pechlivanidis was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank.
Pechlivanidis was born in Athens. He holds a BA in economics from Wesleyan University and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. He has served in executive positions at a number of financial institutions and during the last 5 years he was the Vice-Chairman and Deputy CEO of National Bank of Greece.
In addition to the above, the new structure of the Senior Executive Management of the Group is as follows:
