Cyprus Industrial Turnover Index decreased by 11% in 2009

A decrease of 11% was recorded by the Industrial Turnover Index in 2009, compared to 2008, according to an announcement issued today by Cyprus Statistical Service (CyStat).

In December 2009, the Industrial Turnover Index reached 127.6 units (base 2005=100), recording a decrease of 9.6%, compared to December 2008.

The index in the sector of Manufacturing, reached 123.2 units in December 2009, recording a decrease of 12.4%, compared to December 2008.
