Lanitis, MSJ merge Cyprus agro business

Two of the leading agricultural products suppliers in Cyprus, MS Jacovides and the Lanitis Group, have merged their farming and veterinarian supply arms into a new company called Agrolan.
The merged company will incorporate all the business of Fertilan Ltd. from the NP Lanitis Group and Vetagrica Ltd. from the Jacovides Group and aims to secure a bigger market share in farming products and supplies.
These will include plant safety solutions, fertilisers, seeds and agricultural improvement technologies, modern business practices and improved information and advice offered to farmers in areas of storage and harvesting, while respecting the environment.
The merged company will have retail and wholesale outlets in Limassol, Paphos and Nicosia.
