Cyprus travel abroad down by 2% in November

The Statistical Service has reported that on the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, 72,612 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in November 2009, compared with 74,080 in the corresponding month last year.
This was 2.0% lower than in November 2008.
There was a 4.4% fall in the number trips of residents to Greece (26,363 in November 2009 compared to 27,587 in November 2008), which was the most popular destination.
There was a 1.3% increase in the number of trips to the UK, the second most popular destination with 15,144 visits in November.
