Number of Cypriots traveling abroad drops in November 2009

The number of Cypriots traveling abroad dropped by 2% in November 2009, compared to the respective month of 2008, according to data released on Monday by the Statistical Service.

On the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, 72,612 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in November 2009 compared to 74,080 in the corresponding month in 2008.

In November 2009 there was a decrease of 4.4% on the trips of residents to Greece (26,363 in November 2009 compared to 27,587 in November 2008).
