The Cyprus Association of Directors (CyAD) recently elected its new board headed by Kyriacos Kokkinos (Chairman), with Dinos Kittis elected as Honorary Chairman. The other members of the board are George Georgiades (Vice President), Miltos Miltiadous (Honorary Treasurer), Stelios Nicholson, George Flouros and Marios Antoniades.
CyAD was established in 2004, aiming to support the directors, chief executive officers and senior management of organisations, as well as to consolidate itself as “The Voice of Directors” in Cyprus. The association’s goals are to upgrade, recognise and support the professional board director, as well as to establish and apply the Code of Corporate Governance, the code of conduct and entrepreneurial behaviour. At the same time, through its action, CyAD offers educational services and seminars concerning the mission and responsibilities of the directors. These goals will employ the newly elected board, in order to establish the association’s vision to upgrade its services provided to the directors of the island.
The newly elected chairman of CyAD, Kyriacos Kokkinos, thanked former chairman Dinos Kittis, stressing that he received an association well established and mature, whose work is highly and widely esteemed.
