Cyprus HICP inflation also up in November

The EU-harmonised consumer price inflation rate (HICP) in November confirmed that the period of deflation in Cyprus is over as prices rose by 1.0% over the year earlier, having fallen for four months in a row previously.
The main changes were that food-price inflation turned positive (1.1%) after two months of decline and transport prices rose by 0.1%, having fallen for 12 consecutive months beforehand.
