Cypriot Minister discusses tourist cooperation with Israel

Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Antonis Paschalides and Israeli Minister of Tourism Stas Misejnikov have held a meeting in Tel Aviv during which they agreed that there is great potential for further cooperation of the two countries in the field of tourism.

According to an official press release issued in Nicosia Monday, Paschalides invited Israel’s Minister of Tourism to visit Cyprus for further contacts with the aim to develop bilateral cooperation in the tourist field.

Paschalides addressed a seminar in Tel Aviv for the promotion of Cyprus as centre for international business activities and the provision of services.

During his speech, Paschalides referred to the opportunities offered by Cyprus and the prospects for cooperation between Cypriot and Israeli companies.

The seminar, organized by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Israel’s Chamber, was attended by a big number of Israeli businesspersons.

After the seminar, meetings were held between Cypriot and Israeli businesspersons.
