Cypriot Foreign Minister continues meetings in New York

Minister of Foreign Affairs Marcos Kyprianou met on Thursday in New York his counterparts from Malaysia, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and Palestine, with whom he discussed issues of mutual interest and bilateral relations.

He also attended the UN General Assembly, during the statement by President of the Republic of Cyprus Demetris Christofias.

Kyprianou furthermore participated in the ministerial meeting of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), which was held on the occasion of the 60th anniversary since its establishment.

Later on, he participated in the annual ministerial meeting of the Commonwealth Ministers of Foreign Affairs, which discussed terrorism.
