Cyprus industrial turnover down 10.8% in June

The Statistical Service reported that the industrial turnover index reached 128.5 (base 2005=100) in June 2009, recording a decrease of 10.8% compared with June 2008.
Industrial production in the same period fell by 6.1%.
For the period January-June 2009, the index recorded a decrease of 10.2% compared with the same period of the previous year.
For manufacturing, the index for June 2009 reached 127.5, recording a decrease of 9.5% compared to June 2008.
