Cyprus Hellenic Bank lifts Athena stake to 93.74%

Hellenic Bank Public Company Ltd (HB) announced the finalization of the procedure of the public offer for the acquisition of the share capital of Athena Cyprus Public Company Ltd (ATH). The Acceptance Forms that were submitted represent 17,240,256 shares of Athena; or 15,836% of the issued share capital. As a result, the total shareholding that
HB will hold in the share capital of Athena stands at 93.674% (101,980,475 shares). The Company intends to exercise its right for a squeeze out which is exercisable within 3 months from the expiry of the acceptance period.
