Cyprus records negative inflation rate in July 2009

The rate of increase of the Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) for July 2009 recorded a negative rate of inflation -0,8%, down from 0,1% in June 2009, a press release issued by the Statistical Service says.

According to the Statistical Service, a year earlier, in July 2008, the rate was 5,3%.
