Cyprus petroleum stocks up 8.4% in May

The total sales of petroleum products in May 2009 recorded an increase of 8.4% compared with the previous month according to the Statistical Service.
Α considerable rise was recorded in the sales of asphalt, heavy fuel oil and aviation kerosene, while a significant decrease was recorded in the sales of kerosene, liquefied petroleum gas and gasoil.
The total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month recorded an increase of 24.1% compared with the previous month.
During the period January – May 2009 the total sales of petroleum products recorded a decrease of 6% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
