Hermes Airports invites volunteers to participate in the operational trials of the new Larnaka airport which will be carried out in September and October 2009. The registration process for volunteers has already begun and anyone can take part in these trials provided they comply with the pre-conditions and rules that are stated on Hermes Airports website www.hermesairports.com .
More specifically, before its official inauguration in November 2009, the new Larnaka International Airport will welcome a group of privileged volunteers to the operational trials which will allow for the fine-tuning of the airport and will support the smooth commencement of operations for various services of Cyprus’ new airport. Hermes Airports’ goal is to follow an identical procedure for Larnaka as the one that was used so successfully for Pafos International Airport in November 2008.
The participants will have the rare opportunity to be the first to experience the new state-of-the-art airport and witness the beginning of a new era for Cyprus’ airports. For their participation in the trials, volunteers will receive a commemorative gift and will also be placed into a prize draw where there will be many valuable gifts to be won including a Volvo C30 valued at €22.400, additionally there will be airline tickets offered to the draw from Aegean Airlines, Cyprus Airways and other airline carriers.
All future participants will be invited as and when they complete their application forms via the website www.hermesairports.com. Selected volunteers will be confirmed via e-mail and telephone when more details will be provided concerning their participation. Further information about the operational trials at Larnaka International Airport is available on telephone number 70008087, on weekdays from 09:00 – 18:00.
