Cyprus petroleum sales up 9.8% in March

The total sales of petroleum products in March 2009 recorded an increase of 9.8% compared to the previous month, according to the Statistical Service.
A significant increase was recorded in the sales of aviation kerosene, gasoil, gasoil low sulphur and unleaded motor gasoline.
However, the provisions of gasoil to ships showed a decrease.
The total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month recorded a significant decrease of 25.3% compared to the previous month.
During the period January – March 2009, the total sales of petroleum products recorded a decrease of 6.1% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
