Czech tour operators organize their 2009 Conference in Cyprus

The Association of Tour Operators and travel agencies of the Czech Republic will organize its first conference of this year in Cyprus.

The conference, called by the Czech travel agents as the “contact days”, will take place between April 3-7; with the participation of 90 tourism professionals representing 65 Czech travel agencies.

In statements to CNA, the Association’s President Roman Skrampanek said that the conference would contribute to the better understanding of the professionals of the Czech tourism about the Cypriot tourism product.

In addition, he forecasted a “bright future” regarding the arrivals of Czech tourists in the island, noting that Cyprus “fulfils all the necessary prerequisites to attract quality tourism, while is doing its utmost in order to make its presence noticeable in the Czech market”.

Referring to Cyprus Tourism Organizations’ strong advertising campaign in the Czech Republic, he referred to the award granted to the CTO office Director Costas Orphanides by the Czech Orthodox Church.
