Cyprus President Demetris Christofias and Turkish Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat will continue today discussion on EU issues, in the framework of the direct negotiations which began under UN auspices last September with a view to reunify Cyprus, occupied since 1974 by Turkish troops.

During their last meeting, which took place March 11th, the two leaders referred EU technical and legal issues to experts from both communities.

At today’s meeting, the 23rd to take place, Christofias and Talat will review the work of the experts and have further discussion on EU matters.
