International shipping meetings discuss piracy, global warming

The International Shipping Federation (ISF) and the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), representing the international shipowners and ship operators community, held their Mid-Year Council and Board of Directors Meetings on February 2-3 in London.
The President of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, Capt. Dirk Fry, as the Vice-President of the International Shipping Federation (ISF) and as member of the board of directors of the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), and the Director General, Thomas Kazakos, represented the Chamber at both these important meetings, stating once again with their participation, the high recognition the Cyprus Shipping Chamber enjoys among the International Shipping community.
The meetings mainly concentrated on the issues of piracy of ships and air emissions from ships and global warming.
