Cyprus automatic wage adjustment at 2.15%

The Ministry of Finance has calculated that the new salary increases as a result of the cost of living allowance (C.O.L.A.) for the first six months of 2009 will reach 2.15%, affecting about 300.000 employees whose salaries will now adjust automatically to cover them against rising price increases and loss of their standard of living.
