Cyprus industrial production up 2.6% in September

The industrial production index reached 129.2 in September 2008, recording an increase of 2.6% compared with September 2007.
For the period January – September 2008, the index recorded a rise of 3.4% compared with the same period of the previous year.
For manufacturing, the index for September 2008 reached 117.5, recording an increase of 3.3% compared with September 2007.
Meanwhile, the industrial output prices index for October 2008 reached 144.8, recording a decrease of 0.1% compared with September 2008.
For the period January-October 2008, the price index increased by 10.3% compared with the period January-October 2007.
For manufacturing, the price index for October 2008 reached 139.1, recording a decrease of 0.1% compared with September 2008.
