Logicom appoints Sarris and Papaioannou as Board members

Logicom Public Co Ltd. (LOG.CY), Cyprus’s largest IT Group with extensive activities in the Middle East, east and central Europe announced the appointment of Michalis Sarris and Giorgos Papaioannou as additional Board members.
In September 2005 Michalis Sarris, born in Nicosia on 14/4/1946 was appointed by the President of the Republic as Finance Minister (until February 29, 2008 at the election of the new government). During his terms of office, Cyprus adopted euro as national currency successfully.
Giorgos Papaioannou, born in Nicosia on 4/10/1962 was from 1990 to 2002 employed in the Legal Service of the Republic as legal advisor. In 2002 he resigned from his post in the Legal Service and since then he has his own law office in Nicosia.
