The European Parliament is offering paid traineeships for five months to persons with disabilities to help facilitate the integration of disabled people in the workplace.
These are open to graduates of universities or those with qualifications below university level.
The purpose of the programme is to offer valuable work experience and an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the activities of the European Parliament. The traineeships cannot be extended and do not give trainees the right to future employment in the European Parliament.
The next period for paid traineeships is March 1 – July 31, 2009. Applications must be submitted from August 15 to October 15, 2008.
Information is available at the website www.europarl.europa.eu/nicosia or from the European Parliament Office in Cyprus (Tel: 22870500, email: [email protected]).
