Cyprus industrial production up 4.6% in Jan-May

The index of industrial production reached 120.4 (base 2000=100) in for May 2008, recording an increase of 3.9% compared with May 2007.
For the period January – May 2008 the index recorded an increase of 4.6% compared with the same period of the previous year.
For manufacturing, the index reached 117.8 in May, recording an increase of 4.8% compared with May 2007.
Meanwhile, the industrial output prices index reached 139.5 (base 2000=100) in June 2008, recording an increase of 1.2% compared with May 2008.
For the period January-June 2008, the index increased by 9.7% compared with the period January-June 2007.
For manufacturing, the index reached 137.9 in June, recording an increase of 1.5% compared with May 2008.
