The Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme of the University of Cyprus, the first self-financed programme within the state institution, has already enrolled 154 students from nine countries.

Operating since September 2006, the programme offers two options: a one-year full-time MBA, and a two-year part-time Professional MBA programme. Both are offered in English and Greek.

The MBA programmes offer participants the opportunity to address real problems from the industry and deliver effective solutions using the tools and knowledge acquired during the programme.

A key component of the University of Cyprus MBA are the faculty, who excel at both teaching and research thanks to their broad experience of MBA programmes throughout Europe and North America, while the well-established infrastructure of the University of Cyprus is supported by modern facilities of the highest quality at the new university campus.

The programme directors are Andreas Charitou, George Hadjinicola and Andreas Soteriou.

Participants in the MBA programmes have the opportunity to benefit from a number of scholarships, while a substantial number of scholarships have been announced for the academic year 2008-2009 for government departments, semi-government organizations and the private sector. The programme will also award two scholarships of 5130 euros and 3420 euros, respectively, to individuals working in the field of journalism and mass media.
