The Internet Service company docdata announced that it has increased its interest from 30% in Pegasus e-Business GmbH in Munster (Germany) by an additional 40% to a majority share interest of 70%. The balance sheet and the income statement of Pegasus e-Business GmbH will be included in the consolidation of docdata starting January 1, 2008.

“We now strengthen our position as Internet Service company in the German market; an important focus area for docdata,” said Michiel Alting von Geusau CEO. “We now offer in the German market a complete service package to our clients who want to be active on the Internet”.

This share transaction results from the complete exercise of the call option agreement between docdata and the other shareholder of the company, which was part of the original sale and purchase agreement for the 30% minority interest acquired by docdata in September 2006.

Pegasus e-Business GmbH realised a revenue of about EUR 2 mln with a positive result for the financial year ended at 31 December 2007. Therefore, docdata’s management expects this acquisition to contribute to docdata’s result from the start of the consolidation per 1 January 2008.
