U.Nic discussion on “New Challenges and Opportunities for the EU”

The Cyprus Center for European and International Affairs in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are organizing a panel discussion on “New Challenges and Opportunities for the EU” on Wednesday, December 5, at 4 pm.  The discussions will take place at the Unesco Amphitheater at the Europa Building of the University of Nicosia.

The panel discussion takes place in the context of the series of events under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Week. Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus, Dr Franz-Lothar Altmann, of the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), Fellow of A. Onassis Foundation and ELIAMEP in Athens, and Prof. Michalis Attalides, Rector of the University of Nicosia will address and discuss the challenges that lie ahead for the European Union both internally but also in terms of its role internationally.

The event will be chaired by Prof. Andreas Theophanous, Director of the Cyprus Center for European and International Affairs.
