Cypriot elected VP of International Hospitality Consultants

Angelos Loizou, board member of PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd and partner in charge of the hospitality and leisure services was elected Vice President on the 2007-2008 board of directors of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants at the membership meeting held recently at the InterContinental Hotel in Hong Kong.

“A big challenge that Cyprus faces, is the development of its tourist industry. Through proper utilization of the expertise, knowledge and experience of the members of the Council of ISHC and the people of the international organisation of PwC, I also will offer my services to both organisations I belong to as well as to my country,” Loizou said.

The other board members for 2007-2008 are Patricia Monteson, Chair, (co-owner of Health Fitness Dynamics in Pompano, FL), Thomas Morone, President, (principal of Warnick & Co., California), Sean Hennessey, Treasurer (President of Lodging Advisors in New York), Matt Arrants, Secretary (Managing Director of Pinnacle Advisory Group, Boston), Bonnie Buckhiester (President & CEO of Buckhiester Management USA), Kit Cassingham (founder of Sage Blossom Consulting, Colorado), Stephen Galbreath (principal of RTKL International in Dallas) and Mehmet Onkal (Managing Director BDO Tourism Consultancy, Turkey).
