Russian Commander of Air Defence in Cyprus

Commander of the Russian School of Air Defence, Anatoliy Gavrilof, begins today a five – day visit to Cyprus.

Gavrilof, accompanied by a four – member delegation of the Russian Federation’s Department of Air Defence Forces, will meet tomorrow National Guard General Staff Commander, Lieutenant General Constantinos Bisbikas.

According to an official press release, the Russian official’s visit to Cyprus is taking place as part of an exchange programme between delegations from both countries which aims at exchanging views and experiences in matters concerning air defence.
