Cyprus Foreign Minister to visit Lebanon

Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs Erato Kozakou Markoullis departs on Wednesday evening for Beirut, for a one-day working visit, during which she will discuss, inter alia, the Cyprus problem and the latest developments in the Middle East.

During her stay, Markoullis will be received by Prime Minister Fuad Siniora and President of the Parliament Nabih Berri.

She will also meet her Lebanese counterpart Fawzi Salloukh and other politicians.

Among the issues to be discussed are the latest developments in Lebanon and the Middle East, the Cyprus problem and the promotion of bilateral relations.

The visit to Lebanon is Markoullis’ first stop in her tour of the Middle East. She is scheduled to visit Egypt on November 10 and Syria on November 11.
