Cyprus delegation visits Watec 2007 water exhibition in Israel

A delegation of three officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources & Environment of Cyprus visited Watec 2007 on Wednesday. This follows the visit of the Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and the Environment Photis Photiou to Israel in August.

The delegation had the opportunity to visit the Watec exhibition and also meet with officials from both the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Israel.

Issues discussed included water development and use, use of recycled water, sea pollution and co-operation with neighbouring countries and integrated management of the coastal areas of the Mediterranean.
