Cyprus tennis star Markos Baghdatis, ranked 16th in the world and Argentine ace David Nalbandian (25) will clash in their Wilbledon tournament qualifying game at 1pm Cyprus time on Monday.

The game, crucial for either player to qualify to the next round and retain or improve their world rankings, was postponed from Sunday’s bout due to rain at the prestigious London event.

Baghdatis and Nalbandian, who are also good friends, have clashed in international tournaments three times in the past, the last time being at the Australian Open in Melbourne in 2006 where the Cypriot player won 3-6, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 to get to the final with world champion Roger Federer.
