Elma approves dividend of 1.29 euro cents

The Annual General Meeting of  Elma Holdings Public Company Ltd (ELMA) approved the final audited results for the year ended December 31, 2006, the Directors’ Report and the Auditors’ Report. The profit attributable to shareholders stood at EUR26,803,002 (2005 EUR4,846,737) that corresponds to an increase of 453%.
The AGM approved the proposal of the Board of Directors for the payment of a dividend of 15% on the nominal value (5 cents) of the share, that is, 0.75 cents (1.29 euro cents) per ordinary share. The cum-dividend date will be June 20, 2007, while the ex-dividend will be June 25, 2007. The dividend will be paid to the shareholders on July 20, 2007 with a cheque of Bank of Cyprus Public Company Ltd.
The AGM reelected Messrs. Kikis Lefkaritis, Antonis Kallis and Iacovos Damtsas as Board members. Messrs. Michalakis Ioannides, Costas Constantinides, Yiannos Ioannides, Iacovos Constantinides and Dimosthenis Severis continue to be Board members.
The remuneration of the Board members was increased from CYP400 per annum to CYP600. The Chairman’s remuneration increased from CYP1,500 to CYP2,000 per annum.
