Central Bank Governor and Moody’s delegation review Cypriot economy

Cyprus Central Bank Governor Athanasios Orphanides met with a delegation of international rating agency Moody’s with whom he reviewed the latest developments affecting the Cypriot economy, most notably the recent Convergence Reports issued by the European Commission and the European Central Bank.
According to a Central Bank press release, the meeting covered issues of monetary policy and long-term fiscal sustainability, as well as the challenges and prospects of the banking sector in Cyprus.
The delegation is visiting Cyprus for the regular review and assessment of the latest developments in the Cyprus economy.
