ComputerLinks acquires e-security company in Dubai

ComputerLinks has acquired a 100% interest in the value added distributor and e-security company Fusion Distribution FZC based in Dubai.

With the acquisition of Fusion Distribution FZC the Munich-based ComputerLinks Group has gained direct access to the Middle East, one of the fastest growing markets in
the world.
The company, set up in August 2004, increased turnover in the financial year 2005/2006 (31 August) by 140% to USD 3.9 mln compared to the same period last year. The net yield (after tax) was almost 7% in the period from st September 1, 2005 to August 31, 2006.

The purchase price will be paid in cash and performance-related earn-out payments are to be made until the end of 2010. The acquisition takes comercial effect on April 1, 2007 (first date of consolidation). The deal is condicional on the approval of the relevant governmental authorities in UAE.

Fusion Distribution FZC customers (resellers) in the whole of the Middle East are serviced from the company headquarters in Dubai.

ComputerLinks continues to expand its market position with the acquisition of Fusion Distribution FZC together with its presence in 12 European countries, North America (including Canada) as well as Australia.
