Cyprus – Russia gala at the Palace in September

The Cyprus-Russia musical gala will take place at the Presidential Palace gardens in Nicosia on September 7, sponsored by ICFI (Cyprus) Ltd and organised by The Pharos Trust and Ensemble Productions of the U.K., in cooperation with the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture.

The event will be a musical charity dinner and all proceeds will be go to the Cyprus Radiomarathon Foundation. The event’s success is ensured by the Pharos Trust, a non profit educational and cultural organization known internationally for the development and promotion of intercultural dialogue and relations with other countries (Europe, Mediterranean, Middle East and the Caucasus region). Ensemble Productions is an acclaimed production company which specializes in classical music, jazz, international orchestral concerts and operas.

The evening will include internationally acclaimed musicians such as the 30-member Moscow Virtuosi orchestra conducted by Vladimir Spivakov and accompanied by well-known Russian and Cypriot soloists, such as Martino Tirimo (piano), Margarita Elia (soprano) and George Georgiou (clarinet). Music will continue during dinner, with Russian music groups Turetsky Choir and Pelageya, as well as the Cypriot music group Kyprogeneia.
