BNP Paribas introduces Connexis to Cyprus

Connexis was introduced to the Cypriot business representatives during a presentation held at the Hawaii Grand Hotel and Resort in Limassol last Thursday. The presentation was made by BNP Paribas’ Connexis experts who came from France especially for this event.

During the presentation, Thierry Gigant, Managing Director of BNP Paribas (Cyprus) Limited, spoke about the 20-year history of the Cyprus subsidiary and made a brief presentation of the BNP Paribas Group, the first bank in the Eurozone in terms of market capitalization that is also present in more than 85 countries.

Connexis Cash is an international, internet-based, real-time cash management solution which gives clients access to information about accounts from BNP Paribas or from third party banks around the world. Transfers can be executed individually or by batches, and reports can be adjusted according to clients’ specific requirements and structures.

Connexis Trade allows clients to issue letters of credit, letters of guarantee and execute other trade finance transactions which can then be traced step by step.

Furthermore, Connexis allows clients to transmit their instructions through the internet, using the latest technology, to ensure security, confidentiality and rapidity, at any time and in any place. The multi level system of validation is designed to match with the internal organization of each company.
