Cyprus unemployed decline

The unemployed persons, registered at the District Labour Offices on the last day of April 2007, reached 11,419 persons compared to 12,986 persons in March 2007, a decrease of 1,567 persons. The decrease was mainly recorded in the sectors of hotels and restaurants, transport and trade. In comparison with April 2006 unemployment remained at the same level.
