Lufthansa German Airlines will introduce four new flights a week from Larnaca to Munich for the month of August, in addition to teh five operated to the busy Frankfurt airport.

Munich Airport is one of the most modern airports in teh world and offers convenient transfer facilities, which will make it more attractive for out-bound travellers from Cyprus who want to avoid the stressful Frankfurt airport.

Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday the Lufthansa Airbus A320 will leave Larnaca Airport at 16.20 and arrive in the Bavarian capital at 18.55.

“This flight will offer our travellers from Cyprus additional connections, mainly to European destinations”, said Kathrin Pfeiler, General Manager for Cyprus. “Furthermore, the flight offers excellent connections from the United States”, she added. The flight to Cyprus leaves Munich at 10.55 and arrives at Larnaca at 15.25.

“We are very happy that we can offer this additional flight to our customers, as it is a perfect supplement to our existing flight schedule with three weekly early morning flights and two afternoon weekend flights to Frankfurt”, Pfeiler explained.

Lufthansa operates from and to Munich Airport Terminal 2, a terminal used exclusively by Lufthansa and their Star Alliance partners. This allows short distances between transfer flights and a minimum connecting time from only 35 minutes.
