CSE extends trading time

The Cyprus Stock Exchange announced that on December 22 and 29, 2006, the trading will be extended until 17.00, reversing an earlier decision to shut down the Exchange from 13.00. 

The timing of the CSE Markets will remain as it is on a daily basis; The trading in the Main Market and the Shipping Market will terminate at 17.00, the Parallel, the Alternative and the Investment Companies Market will close at 14.30 and the trading in the Bonds Market and the Special Category Market/Special Characteristics will terminate at 13,30, as always. 

As a result, the documents/forms concerning registries in the Central Register/Depository will be accepted by the CSE at 11.00 the latest. 

The CSE decided to proceed to this differentiation taking into account the recommendations made by certain parties in Cyprus and Greece and within the framework of the effort for a harmonization of the procedures between the CSE and the ASE due to the Common Platform.
