Marfin Popular new organic structure

Marfin Popular Bank Public Company Ltd announced that the Board of Directors approved the new organic structure of the Group. Further to a previous decision of the Board of Directors dated 6.11.2006, Andreas Vgenopoulos has been elected as Managing Director, Christos Stylianides as Deputy Managing Director for the activities in Cyprus and Eleftherios Hiliadakis as Deputy Managing Director for the international activities.
The Board of Directors elected a new Executive Committee, which is composed of two committees, one for the activities in Cyprus and one for the international activities of the Group.
Andreas Vgenopoulos has been appointed as Chairman and Coordinator of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee of Cyprus is composed of Christos Stylianides (Coordinator), Panayiotis Kounnis, Petros Petrou, Takis Fedias and Rodoulla Hadjikyriakou.

The Executive Committee for the international activities is composed of Eleftherios Hiliadakis (Coordinator), Michalis Louis, Efthimios Mpalloutas and Sayanta Basu.
The Board of Directors also approved the organization chart for the activities in Cyprus, which provides for 26 Managers in the institutional and business operations of the Group
The new horizontal organic structure aims to give the opportunity to able officials for a better and faster growth of operations, a hastening of the procedures for decision taking and participation of larger groups in the responsibility of the Group’s course.
