Logicom clinches radio frequency deal

Logicom Pcl (LOG) reached an agreement, on 29 September 2006, with the Ministry of Communications and Works and with the French syndicate ‘THALES Telecommunications’ for the design and implementation of the National System for the Management and Supervision of the Cypriot Spectrum of Radio Frequencies.

This system, the implementation of which was a EU requirement, and will monitor at all times radio frequencies, television frequencies and other transmissions. To this end, the target of the National System for the Management and Supervision of Radio Frequencies will be the effective management of radio-communications in Cyprus
