George Michaelides leaves Louis on early retirement

George Michaelides, the mastermind behind the aggressive promotion of Louis cruises around the world, has left after 16 years of service at the biggest tourist enterprise in Cyprus.

His responsibilities as Group Marketing Director – Cruising, will be absorbed by the Sales and Marketing department presently headed by George Stathopoulos in Greece.

Michaelides had previously worked at the Cyprus Tourism Organisation for 14 years and achieved many novel marketing campaigns that attracted quality tourists from Germany and the rest of Europe.

Originally from Famagusta, Michaelides said that although he was taking early retirement, he will continue to be active and offer his services to the tourism sector.
