Cyprus Industrial turnover up

The Index of Cyprus Industrial Turnover (Mining and Quarrying, Manufacturing, Electricity, Gas and Water Supply) for May 2006 reached 137,7 units (Base 2000=100). For May 2006 the Index recorded an increase of 13,0% compared to May 2005. For the period January – May 2006 the index recorded an increase of 4,4% compared to the same period of the previous year.

For Manufacturing, the Index for May 2006 reached 134,1 units, recording an increase of 11,0% compared to May 2005.
