Motor vehicle registrations decline

The Statistical Service announced that total registrations of motor vehicles decreased by 1.3% to 20,893 in January – May 2006, from 21,163 in January – May 2005.

Private Saloon cars decreased to 15,059 from 16,356 in January – May 2005, i.e. there was a decrease of 7.9%.
