Samsung laptop with 19-inch widescreen

Washington (dpa) – Samsung is now offering a laptop with a 19-inch widescreen display. The m70 is the first widescreen mobile device offered in this size, the manufacturer reports. The display is available with a resolution of 1680 by 1050 pixels.

The machine comes equipped with a high-end Pentium M processor with 2.13 gigahertz of processing power, a graphics card from nVidia with 128 megabytes of onboard RAM, 1 gigabyte of RAM, and a serial ATA hard drive with 100 gigabytes of capacity.

The 4.4-kilogramme device also handles WLAN 802.11 a/b/g, Ethernet 100/1000, USB 2.0 and a DVD Super Multi drive. Prices vary between 2399 to 3199 euros (2,880-3,840 dollars), depending upon the options selected. (dpa)
