The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 27 October 2005 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £150,0 million were submitted, and an amount of £50,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 2,55%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,47% and 2,59%, respectively.
